We enjoyed the less-formal atmosphere that the downstairs offers diners and we found ourselves seated in the fascinating architecture of an original 17th Century Salt Cellar.

We were two for supper, Karen and I, and were immediately made to feel extremely welcome by mine hosts Mhorag, Robert and their waiting staff.
